Shipping documents
are all types of documents, such as Packing List, Commercial Invoice,
Insurance Policy, and so on, which are provided for a negotiation
between a seller and a buyer. These documents stipulate acceptance,
receipt and shipment of goods. |
1. Packing List Packing List is not an indispensable document
for shipment, but still necessary for transportation
and customs. In a packing list, there mentioned important
information about the item(s), which can be used through the entire process
of shipment. This document itemizes your product material
in metric weights, indicating the weights, measures,
and numbers of each package and how it is carried; i.e.,
box, crate, drum, etc. It should be duplicated in english.
From it buyer should be able to determine the total
shipping weight and volume and the contents of the cargo.
It should include shipping marks and references of the
shipper and buyer and must refer to the letter of credit,
if applicable. Everything on it must conform to the
conditions of sale. To

2. Commercial Invoice The commercial invoice resembles the pro forma
invoice in many ways, but acts as a bill for goods from
KeeSang
Corp. to seller.
The buyer needs this invoice to prove ownership and
arrange payment. Customs will request it at the time
of delivery and may use it to assess import tariffs.
The invoice must be prepared on our company letterhead,
which must contain your complete address and telephone
number. When completed, attach the original and 3 copies
(all signed separately) to your liftelevator.com airwaybill.
It is advisable that you type all commercial invoices.
Certain Latin American countries require that all commercial
invoices be typed. Please call Liftelevator.com for
more details.

3. Certificate of Origin Countersigned by the local Chamber of Commerce,
sometimes visaed by the Consulate of the destination
foreign country. It may seem like a step too much, but
this document can actually save money when it attests
to preferential duty rates in countries offering free
trade agreements to the export country. The certificate of origin is
required by some countries only for some goods. For
details, check the commodity guidelines and dutiable
notes under the appropriate country or call Liftelevator.com's
customer service. This form is used by customs at the
destination to control imports from particular countries,
or to identify goods that might qualify for preferential
treatment based on agreements between countries. If
required, you should submit one original certificate.
Some countries, like Mexico and Israel, have their own
certificate of origin forms. Also, when shipping goods
to Canada or Mexico that qualify for reduced duty rates
under NAFTA, a special NAFTA certificate of origin is
required.

inspection document This
is requested by the buyer and normally certified by
an independent third-party organization or may merely
be certified upon the affidavit of the seller. It specifies
to the buyer if the goods conform to the order. To view the sample, Click
