(O.F)
Operating Force
The force required to cause contact snap-action.
It is expressed in terms of force applied to the
actuator. |
|
(R.F)
Release Force
The force to be applied to the actuator, at the
monment contact snaps back from operated position
to unoperated position. |
|
(T.F)
Total Force
The force required to travel the actuator to overtravel
position. |
|
(P.T)
Pretravel
Distance of the actuator movement from free position
to operating positon.
|
|
(O.T)
Overtravel
The distance which the actuator is permitted to
travel after actuation without any damage to the
switching mechanism.
|
|
(T.T)
Total Travel
The distance which the actuator is permitted to
travel from free position without any damage to
the switching mechanism.
|
|
(M.D)
Movement Differential
The distance from operating to release position
of the actuator.
|
|
(O,P)
Operating Position
The position of the actuator when the traveling
contacts snaps to the fixed contact.
|
|
(R.P)
Release Position
The position of the actuator when the traveling
contact snaps back from operating position to
it's original position.
|
|
(O.T.P)
Overtravel Position
The stopping position of the actuator after total
travel.
